This special Morning Yoga Retreat series comes from the mountains of north Georgia. We take advantage of the "yogic triad" of time, place, and identity to shift the flavor of the practices. As we engage a different outer world, we also connect to different aspects of our inner world, and understand ourselves in different relationships.
You will receive 5 daily practices of more than 30 minutes and a 6th daily practice of one hour. These classes include community and conversation, as well as the context of a week of circumstances with which to make yoga: Nature in the form of creatures, streams, lakes, sky, storms, and hurricanes. Even internet connectivity. (In the terms of the ancients––good sky and bad sky, sukha and duhkha).
Over 3 1/2 hours of practice includes breathing awareness, joint mobility and sensory/motor exercises, a mix of yoga asana for the whole body, vision practices, balance practices, meditation and yoga history/philosophy in morning-sized portions.
Recordings are downloadable and can be viewed any time, as long as you want. The entire series follows the usual Morning Retreat pricing: pay what is good for you. Enjoy the benefits for a lifetime.
