This Movement Mindset class is inspired by the I Chin Ching exercises of Chinese Martial Arts, which complement and overlap yoga. This is a 75-minute basic class that will develop foundational strength useful for arm balance poses. Class includes:
- An intro to I Chin Ching, along with variations
- Sensory warm-up
- Vision practices
- Wrist/arm strength drills
- Ankle/leg strength drills
- Joint mobility drills
- Balance challenge drills
- Basic standing poses
- Hip and shoulder drills/poses
- Basic seated & reclined poses
- Guided cool down/Savasana
