Knee Nutrition

Knees need nourishment, not just supplements. That nourishment is primarily good, regular movement. If they haven't been getting it for too long, you might have to see a professional to provide it. But you can learn what your knees require and give it to yourself on a regular basis. Yoga poses are potentially great, but they might not be sufficient. We will expand beyond yoga for the knees and adopt more of a brain-based approach. You'll see what that means as we proceed.

In this four week course, we'll first learn a mindset shift toward our knees and use that strategy to empower ourselves toward greater freedom and strength of movement and perhaps even less pain. This is not so much a therapeutic class as a reorientation of yourself through a gentle, lifelong daily practice.

Each weekly session is brief enough to make it more accessible, but potent with practices for that week. You will build a repertoire and a menu of practices and understandings that you can draw upon the rest of your life. If you have your healthcare provider's consent, this should be appropriate for you whether you have had injuries, repairs, or replacements, or you simply want to keep your knees working at their best.

If you can't make it to the live Zoom session, the recordings will be available. You'll also receive bonus videos for further practice. Register once for entire series.

Tuesday Oct 1, 8, 15, 22. 10:00-10:30, Eastern. $60.
