If you sit in one position a lot—especially if you have to look at a computer all day—you could develop some tightness, aches, and pains.

Below is list of practices that might give you some relief, based on biomechanics and neurology. You can think of them as ways to heed your brain's message to shift your position or do something different.

They are also ways to refresh your brain's maps of your neck and body. Better maps often decrease pain.

These simple practices take advantage of the connections among your eyes, head position, neck, various cranial nerves, shoulders, upper back, lower back, breath, and all the overlapping pathways of nerves, muscles, and joints, etc. Basically, areas that are near each other influence each other.
