Balance is a practice and skill that is foundational for everything you need to do and want to do in life, from basic survival drives to finding more ease, freedom, and fulfillment in life.
Balance is not just a body function; ultimately, it is a brain function and connected to a vast number of other brain functions. If working well, it is unconscious and taken for granted. If working poorly, it can be a major limitation. The good news is you can improve yours with the right practices.
This course is for anyone who wants to learn the fundamentals of better balance, whatever your age or physical condition (with doctor's approval). Any age is the right age to start. Anyone can learn practices to improve your current level of balance, whether you are a beginner or already an advanced athlete.
This is also a good course for yoga teachers or trainers who want to offer new skills to your students/clients.
We will begin with an assessment so that you know where your balance skills stand (!) right now. This in itself is a valuable practice.
Each day of the 10 Days, you will gain access to a progressive series of simple--but not necessarily easy--practices and drills. You will learn how to safely adapt them to your needs, either making them more or less challenging.
You will receive written instructions, videos, and downloadable PDFs. By the end of the course, you will know what you need to practice for a lifetime of better balance. The course material will remain available for you to continue to study and draw upon.
